Radiance Cake Heist - Return Policy

RETURNS & REFUND POLICY

Although we strive for perfection with every cake we make, sometimes items come up that need to be addressed.  If you have a serious problem/concern with your product please Carefully read & follow our returns/refund policy.

 

  1. FAULTY PRODUCT/DAMAGES

 If you receive a faulty or damaged cake, Please carefully photograph all damages & contact us the same day. Products that are faulty or damaged on exchange will be refunded/partially refunded at our discretion. We are not responsible for damages or faults caused by mishandled products or once the finished product is taken out of our care.

  • Once you or a designated party has picked up an order and signed for it, it is considered "accepted" – we will ask to make sure that everything is correct such as the design, spelling, etc. Refunds requested due to decorating style, writing, color shade, or general design will not be honored after signing for your cake. In some instances you may bring the cake back in for design adjustments but this is an additional charge if the cake has been signed for
  • All products are the responsibility of the customer once it leaves our shop. We are not responsible for any damage occurring to the cake during transport, set-up or any time thereafter. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick up. Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc.

 

  1. RETURNS

 The product must be returned SAME DAY.  Please bring back all of it.  Products with only small fractions remaining (for example, 5 or 6 pieces of a 20 slice cake) will not be considered for a refund.  Do not throw any of the product away.

 

  1. REFUNDS

 If both of the above criteria are met & Radiance Cake Heist is found liable for the damages/fault the product will be considered for a refund.  Only legitimate errors on our part will be considered for refund.

 

  1. CHANGE OF MIND/DESIGN

Radiance Cake Heist cannot be held responsible if you simply change your mind. Please select your order carefully as no refunds will be given if you cancel your order.​

 Issues that will NOT be considered for refund include:

 – If you dropped the product.

– If the product was improperly stored.

– Choosing a flavor that you don’t like.

– Choosing/changing a design that you don’t like without proper notice

– Purchasing a larger cake then you needed.

 

  1. EARLY PICK UPS

 Very important!  Cakes picked up early, meaning not being picked up on the same day that they will be eaten (i.e picked up today but eaten the next or other day) , will not be considered for refund, no matter what the problem.  There are too many storage variables that can go wrong that we cannot be held responsible for.

 Due to the perishable nature of our products if a complaint is not filed immediately and the product not returned the same day, the item will not be considered for return/refund.

 

  1. TRANSPORTING

You are responsible for transporting your order home safely & we are not responsible once an order leaves our premises.  Cakes should never be placed on seats! Place them on the floor board of the vehicle so that they are level. Refrigerate cakes that will not be eaten within two hours of pickup.

 

  1. ALLERGY WARNING

Every product produced in our bakery is made with shared equipment that may have come in contact with ingredients containing allergens including but not limited to: Peanuts, Tree nuts, Soy, Dairy, Eggs, Gluten, Wheat, etc.  If you have food allergies, it is advised that you do not consume our products.
