A true artisan is revealed by the touch of her hands. The firmness of her hands is pure evidence of the many years of manual labor invested in perfecting her creative skills with bare minimum tools. The collection of handcrafted specialty candles and coconut shell sculptures are of concepts and ideas adopted and designed by the inspired artisan through memories of animated Disney movies with her kids as a mum, her curiosity in space science, ancient history, spirituality and of the metaphysical. The natural resources used are raw coconuts locally sourced from the garden island of Taveuni. The finished and treated coconut shell is cut and carved into various designs by the artisan and used as a medium in the sculpture and candle making process. The solid base is a piece from the trunk of the coconut tree. A handful of the coconut shell products are embellished with faceted stone rhinestones, solid brass studs and ethnic motif components. The end product brags of its unique individuality.
